2017 SA champs
This is the one that everyone is waiting for... The culmination of a huge amount of training, as well as the very hard work by the committee and all the parents involved: The South African School Rowing Championships! Last year CBC made its mark and this year we intend to consolidate and build on our reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Find out more in this very detailed information pack
the first regatta of the season was hosted by Hunyani Rowing Club. It was a wonderfully wet regatta – a little chilly and VERY wet in the end! However, this did not dampen our spirits or our rowers’ enthusiasm to perform. See full report here.
Congratulations to all those involved in the 2016 fundraising efforts. These funds have gone towards the construction of our own boat trailer that we hope to have up and running in time for SA Champs 2017.
Annual Coaches Report 2016 - Chisipite Boat Club -
2016 was the most amazing year for Chisipite Boat Club. The girls have travelled far and wide: from Port Alfred, South Africa; Ontario, Canada; Rotterdam, The Netherlands; Munich, Germany; to just down the road at Peterhouse, Marondera. The girls trained hard - putting in more hours of dedication than you could ever imagine into their preparation for Regattas and Competition. They have truly performed beyond anything that was expected, let alone what they expected. They proudly held the Chisi Flag up high. See the full report here.
